2016 Sino-Micro Symposium

Theme: "One Health: the Role of Microbes"

Following our very successful 1st International Symposium on Microbiology in the Omics Era in Chongqing 2014, the Overseas Chinese Society of Microbiology (Sino-Micro) will host a Symposium with the theme "One Health: the Role of Microbes". This symposium will be supported by the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and the Chinese Society for Microbiology (CSM). The symposium will be held on June 15, 2016 in Boston prior to the 2016 ASM General Meeting. The symposium will have keynote talks and short oral presentations.

Registration is required for attending either the scientific sessions or the evening dinner and business meeting.

  • Principal Investigators (PIs): If you are interested in giving a talk, please make sure to submit a tentative title of your presentation.

  • Postdocs and students: We welcome postdocs and students to register for the scientific session of the meeting. However, the applications for SinoMicro membership and business meeting are open only to principle investigators.

Cost: Free to Sino-Micro members; Lunch and Dinner provided.
