Co-hosted by Overseas Chinese Society of Microbiology (Sino-Micro) and State Key Laboratory of Microbial Metabolism at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), the Sino-Micro 2021 was held on Oct 26-28, 2021 at Shanghai, China. The meeting theme is: Addressing the unprecedented public health challenges: the essence of microbial sciences and global collaboration. See three related documents: Meeting agenda program, Welcome introduction, and Scientific committee report. The meeting website here: http://www.icms-sjtu.org/.
Overall, the Sino-Micro 2021 was a very successful meeting, with 5 welcome talks in the openning ceremony, 64 oral presentations, and 52 posters. About 250 attendees attended the meeting in-person.
